Incremental Value of SPECT/CT in the Detection of Femoral Head Viability in Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis

Abstract: In this article, we discuss the role of Tc-methylene diphosphonate SPECT/CT in 2 cases of slipped capital femoral epiphysis. We describe the incremental value of SPECT/CT in determining the viability of the femoral head and the implications in management of patients with slipped epiphysis.
