Abstract: A mild, scalable, one-pot access to multifunctional 9-fluorenols from o-formyl-ynones and o-bis-ynones on reaction with dimethylacetone-1,3-dicarboxyate through tandem Michael addition–Aldol condensation cascade has been conceptualized and executed.
