Abstract:The indenyl ruthenium thiolate complexes IndRu(PPh 3 ) 2 SR, (1) [Ind = g 5 -C 9 H 7 ; R = Pr n (a), Ph (b), CH 2 Ph(c)] were prepared directly by reacting the thiolate anions (RS ) ) with IndRu(PPh 3 ) 2 Cl. The one-pot reaction of IndRu(PPh 3 ) 2 Cl, thiolate anions and dppa ligands gave IndRu(dppa)SR [dppa= bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane: dppe (2); bis(diphenylphosphino)methane: dppm (3)]. Complexes (1) readily react with NOBF 4 in THF at room temperature to give [IndRu(PPh 3 )(NO)SR]BF 4 , (4). Complexes (1)… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
