A dual-core photonic crystal fiber (PCF) based surface plasmon resonance (SPR) for measuring temperature, refractive index (RI) and polarization filtering, is presented in this paper. The proposed sensor’s cladding upper surface was coated with gold for RI while lower with silver and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for temperature sensing. Proposed sensor was designed and simulated using finite element method (FEM) through commercially available Comsol Multiphysics software. Wavelength and amplitude sensitivities of 18400 nm/RIU and 150.74 RIU-1 along with spectral resolution of 5.43×10-
