Abstract:India recently published its National Suicide Prevention Strategy aimed at reducing suicide mortality in the country by 10% by the year 2030. This strategy laid out time-bound objectives and action plans, targeting biological, psychosocial, and cultural risk factors for suicide, which are specific to the region.
