The fundamental pillars of nursing science—nursing care, management, and teaching and research—are in constant evolution. The adaptation of Spanish nursing to the European Higher Education Area has promoted nursing research. Over the past few years, several institutions have made official statements concerning the difficulty of finding teaching staff for university nursing degrees. This is closely linked to the production of research, given that minimum criteria must be met for university teacher accreditation. The goal of this study is to analyze scientific production in nursing, nursing research and teaching in The Web of Science in order to establish how this is progressing and to gain further insight into the field of academic nursing. A total of 34,497 documents were analyzed using the Bibliometrix software version 4.1.0. The results reveal an increase in nursing research over time. Most of this is published in English and mainly focuses on specific nursing areas, such as oncology or psychiatry. Spain occupies the eighth place worldwide in nursing research. In spite of this position, the data suggest that other factors are blocking the accreditation of university teachers of nursing in Spain. They also reflect the need to encourage nursing research in this setting in the future.

Customer satisfaction has been gaining the attention of researchers hoping to develop a model that integrates different constructs to achieve the satisfaction that leads to customer loyalty. Under the sharing economy paradigm, satisfaction is vital to the development of this disruptive business model. Trust between the consumer and the supplier allows its collaboration, and digital platforms connect the consumer with the supplier by creating a framework of trust around transactions. Producer satisfaction is as important as consumer satisfaction; however, it has not had the necessary attention-hence the need and motivation to develop a two-way review system. Based on the American Customer Satisfaction Index, we propose a cause-effect model for the consumer and supplier, connected by the common trust construct. Based on the literature review and choice of relevant publications, we define a conceptual model that will allow the development of a two-way satisfaction model to serve as a contribution to future satisfaction studies in the sharing economy.

Resumo Objectives: to describe the scientific production of qualitative studies in childhood asthma. Methods: bibliometric analysis. Articles were from Web of Science, Scopus, Cochrane, and PubMed (1996-2018), using the search terms asthma, children, qualitative research, qualitative study, qualitative analysis, ethnographic, phenomenology and narrative. Results: 258 articles were retrieved from 143 journals, representing 1.2% of scientific articles on childhood asthma. The growth rate was high. Authorship included 969 authors (85.3% occasional) from 279 institutions. 94.2% were co-authored and 3.5% were international collaborations. The greatest number of articles were from the United States (45.3%), United Kingdom (17.4%) and Canada (7.4%). The categories with the highest number of articles were Nursing & Public, Environmental & Occupational Health (18.2%), Respiratory System (10.1%) and Allergy (7.7%). 99.7% of the articles were in English. Conclusion: these results show a lack of consolidation of the literature based on qualitative studies on childhood asthma with a high percentage of occasional authors and limited international collaboration, indicating a need to strengthen this approach.
