The means‐end chains theory was used in this study to explore the attributes most valued by TikTok users and to examine the resulting psychological values generated. Laddering interviews were used for content analysis and “online video sharing platform attributes—user consequences—personal values” psychological cognitive structures, from a perspective of the user were constructed using the structural implication matrix and hierarchical value map. A total of 34 elements were identified from the results of the study. The categorization of attribute elements was also expanded to include motivation for social media communication and interaction, which have not been previously explored. The results showed that diverse video genre, interesting video content, easy‐to‐use interface, visual effects application, and community sharing and recommendation are key platform attributes valued by users. The facilitating observational learning, promoting the joy of life, raising convenience, having fun with friends, relieving emotional stress, and other user consequences were generated by platform attributes. And lastly, personal values such as a sense of accomplishment, fun and enjoyment of life, warm relationships with others, and sense of belonging were gained. In addition, the study also finds that there are differences in the psychological cognitive structures between genders and that the correlations and influences among the elements have different degrees of significance. These findings can give marketers and policymakers a better understanding of the behavior of TikTok users and help them develop better strategies for marketing and promotion of the platform.

In learning English, the students need interactive techniques to develop students' skill. Students frequently faced problems such as pause filler, stopping for a long time, and stammering, then the researchers applied the Chain story technique in order to solve the problems. Also, this technique is used to upgrade students' speaking skills so they can speak fluently and accurately. This research was qualitative research. The participants are third-semester students that join one English program (PKPBI) at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, in the Arabic Education Department (PBA) with a number of participants are 27 students. The implementation of the chain story was conducted in 2 meetings with the time learning about 120 min for each meeting. In collecting the data, the researcher used open-ended interviews, in-depth interviews, and observation. The data was presented in statistics. The data showed that 59,20% of students never experienced using chain stories in their learning of English. The rest 40, 70% of students experienced the use of chain stories in their learning of English. In addition, the use of chain story has great benefits for their English speaking skills. There are 5 items: upgrade the English skills, enrich the English vocabulary, upgrade the way of thinking, increase motivation, and upgrade creativity.

To better align vocational higher education (VHE) with its rapidly evolving economy, Guangdong Province has initiated a qualitative comparative case study, leveraging insights from Taiwan region to tackle its VHE challenges. The study identifies key issues, including curriculum-industry misalignment, VHE's low social recognition, and graduates' employment difficulties. It suggests actionable solutions such as curriculum reforms for greater industry relevance, enhanced teacher training, improved career guidance, and fortified industry partnerships. Employing a mixed-method approach that merges literature reviews with case studies, the research offers critical recommendations for policymakers to elevate VHE's quality and competitiveness in Guangdong. Emphasizing the need for a dynamic VHE system attuned to labour market demands, the study provides a blueprint for Guangdong's VHE reforms, aiming to foster economic growth through high-quality skilled workforce.
