Indonesian Economic Growth and Education Expenditure Analysis

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of education spending on economic growth in Indonesia in the short term, to determine the effect of education spending on economic growth in Indonesia in the long term. This research is a descriptive study that tries to uncover and describe facts about the effect of education spending on economic growth in Indonesia. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data that is time series, namely data on education expenditures and economic growth quoted from the Central Statistics Agency. The data obtained in this study were analyzed by linearity regression. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that education spending in the short term has no effect on economic growth,
