This article addresses some selected issues in IndonesianPolish contrastive phraseology. The author discusses the problem of the scarcity of Indonesian research material sources other than the generally available phraseological dictionaries and the online version of the comprehensive dictionary of the Indonesian language. These dictionaries cover three types of fixed language units, referred to as idiom, ungkapan and peribahasa. Special attention is paid to the semantic relations between these three terms. To facilitate comparison of the phraseological resources of the analysed languages, it is proposed to use a terminological and conceptual framework based on Polish phraseological theory.
