“…It is therefore important to define breeding programs so as to improve the quality of the cork oak trees. This method was successfully adapted to Petunia hybrida to obtain floral shoots (Mulin and Tran Thanh Van 1989) and when applied to explants isolated from the nodal region of hypocotyl of 5day-old seedlings of Helianthus annuus and Lupinus mutabilis floral induction was observed in a low number of explants (Mulin and Tran Thanh Van 1994).
