“…According to statistical assessments performed for 37 companies in Egypt, about 50% of those companies release their effluents of wastewater, only some of which are treated, of approximately 1.3 billion cubic meters (BCM)/year into the public sewage system in violation of Egyptian environmental law [ 4 , 5 ].
