“…The ITSEA measures social emotional behaviors and competencies for children 12 months–35 months, 30 days and has good internal consistency ( α = 0.85–0.89), acceptable‐to‐excellent test‐retest reliability ( r = 0.76–0.91), and strong inter‐rater reliability ( r = 0.72–0.79). Autistic children were included in the normative sample and this measure has additionally been validated in an autistic sample (Briggs‐Gowan & Carter, 1998 ; First et al., 2013 ; Mottes, 2015 ).
