Infection with a Hypervirulent Strain of Helicobacter Pylori Primes Gastric Cells Toward Intestinal Transdifferentiation

Abstract: Background: Intestinal metaplasia, gastric-to-intestinal transdifferentiation, occurs as a result of the misexpression of certain regulatory factors, leading to genetic reprogramming.
