Infective endocarditis presenting as meningitis: a case report

Abstract: Introduction and importance: Infective endocarditis (IE) primarily affects the endocardium of heart valves. Neurologic manifestations include strokes, intracerebral hemorrhages, meningitis, cerebral and spinal abscess, and mycotic aneurysms.
