Inflorescence diversity in subtribe Eleusininae (Poaceae: Chloridoideae: Cynodonteae)

It has been shown that the variation in number of florets per spikelet is regulated by the precise timing of expression of miR172 family that controls the activity of AP2-like genes (Lee et al, 2007;Chuck et al, 2007Chuck et al, , 2008An, 2012 Ren et al, 2013;Kellogg, 2015b).
