Influence of Accessibility on Land Use and Landscape Pattern Based on Mapping Knowledge Domains: Review and Implications

Abstract: Research on the influence of accessibility on land use and landscape patterns is one of the most important subfields in landscape ecology and transportation geography. In this review article, we use CiteSpace and VOSviewer to analyze relevant information, including the number of published papers, highly cited literature, high-frequency keywords, periodicals, and the leading countries conducting research on this particular field. Based on the mapping knowledge domain theory and summarizing method, this research… Show more

“…Space in Xi'an. Urban green space classification is the basis of green space information extraction, space-time evolution of green space, and landscape pattern analysis [20]. In this paper, according to the classification of land use status, the research of scholars and the actual situation of the main urban area of Xi'an, and according to the contribution of the constituent elements of urban green space to green space, the spatial types of the study area are divided into green space and nongreen space, in which green space includes urban green space cultivated land, and water body, and nongreen space includes construction land and other land, as shown in Table 1.…”

“…Liu et al planned and studied a wide range of open space by applying the principles of landscape ecology and combining landscape structure and landscape function. Moreover, foreign research studies on the construction of urban green space system from the perspective of landscape ecology mostly focused on the ecological network, greenway, and green line, and regarded them as new planning parameters of man and nature [4]. Hou et al mainly studied the ecological and social role of "green line" in urban landscape [5].…”

“…The core idea assumes that if an independent variable has an important impact on a dependent variable, the spatial distribution of the independent and dependent variables should be similar. Geodetector had been widely used in LUCC [21], public health [22], regional economy [23], regional planning [24], tourism [25,26], geology [27,28], meteorology [29,30], animal life [31,32], ecology [33], pollution [34], remote sensing [35,36], etc. However, there were few experimental studies using Geodetector on the driving mechanisms of habitat quality, especially in complex metropolitan areas.…”
