Abstract: The effects of antibiotics and surfactant addition on methionine accumulation in the broth culture of three strains of methionine yeilding Bacillus cereus (B. cereus DS-13, B. cereus AS-9 and B. cereus RS-16) recovered from different soil ecovars in Owerri Nigeria were investigated.
