Abstract:A series of tellurite glass having compositions: 60 TeO2 – (30-x) B2O3 – 7 TiO2 – (3+x) ZnO where x = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 mol% were successfully facbricated, i.e., by applying the melt-quenching method. Melting was carried out at 950˚C in 70 minutes. The density of all the investigated glasses were calculated using an empirical equation.
