Influence of B4C particle size on the mechanical behavior of A356 aluminium composites

Abstract: The influence of adding B4C particulates with a 40 and 90 µm sizes on the compressive strength, tensile strength and impact toughness of the A356 alloy is being studied. In the Al alloy matrix, 40 and 90 µm -sized micro B4C particulates are employed as reinforcements.
