Abstract: The porous structure of three different, commercially available porous carbonaceous materials is investigated by the αS-plot method and by the t-plot method. Subsequently, the electrochemical properties of sulfur-free porous carbon electrodes from inspected materials are studied by cyclic voltammetry.
