Influence of Cd2+ Ions Substitution on the Magnetic Properties of Ni-Cd Ferrites

Abstract: The polycrystalline of Ni-Cd ferrites were prepared by the technology sol-gel with participation of autocombustion and sintered at temperature 1573 K in air. Low field hysteresis measurement was carried out at room temperature at frequency of 200 Hz and at the field range 1600-16000 A/m. The increase of Cd 2+ ions yields the increase of specific saturation magnetization σs and magnetic moment mexp up to x  0.3 then decrease thereafter.
