Influence of compensation of selenium deficiency on immunological parameters of patients with multidrugresistant tuberculosis at the background of subclinical hypothyroidism

Abstract: In 60 patients with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis at the background of subclinical hypothyroidism serum level of selenium, thyroid state and immunological parameters were studied in dynamic of the intensive phase of chemotherapy. Initially low level of selenium, subclinical hypothyroidism and weaken immunological response toward tuberculosis were diagnosed.
