This paper uses multimedia technology to build a civic education platform and integrates it into the civic education of colleges and universities by designing a resource sharing model for the civic education platform. Starting from the connotation of resource sharing mode and students’ participation path, a questionnaire is developed to test the reliability of the questionnaire. Correlation coefficients and regression models were used to explore the relationship between the resource sharing model of the Civic and Political Education Platform and the students’ participation path. The questionnaire’s reliability was maintained at above 0.7, and its validity was all above 0.9, which fully met the questionnaire’s standard requirements. The Pearse’s Choice correlation coefficients between the educational model (A1) and behavioural participation (A2), cognitive participation (A3), and affective participation (A4) were 0.149, 0.081, and -0.054, respectively, and the corresponding regression equations were Y=1.992+0.428*behavioural participation+0.217* cognitive participation+0.199*emotional participation, which revealed the relationship between the Civic and Political Education Platform resource-sharing model and the relationship between students’ participation paths, which makes the ideological education in colleges and universities rise to a new level.
