Abstract:Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) are extensively used in high-performance industrial applications. High dynamic response can be achieved by means of direct torque control (DTC). The main advantage of DTC is that coordinate transformations and pulse width modulation (PWM) generation are not needed, however, classical DTC produces high torque ripple. This paper presents a comparison of different flux estimation methods to implement DTC drive systems, and shows the influence of the choice of estimation… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
