Abstract:Lignocellulosic material is the most prominent carbon source to obtain
profitable biotechnological processes, but compounds like furfural and
acetic acid are highly toxic to yeasts. Nonetheless, research about the
molecular mechanism of furfural and acetic acid toxicity is still scarce
