Influence of grain boundaries on orientation of spontaneous magnetization inside domains in the Fe-3%Si ferromagnetic sheets

Abstract: Some peculiarities of the spatial distribution of magnetization M⃗S inside stripe domains near the planar grain boundaries in the sheets of soft magnetic alloys such as Fe-3%Si with orientation (011̄) in demagnetized state are investigated. By means of solution of the Landau-Lifshitz equation, the equilibrium magnetization configurations are calculated and mechanisms of their formation are discussed.
