Influence of heat processing conditions on the mechanical properties and durability of steel in oilfield casing and tubular goods in a model CO2-containing operating environment

Abstract: The influence of heat processing conditions on the experimental steel resistance to carbon dioxide corrosion for Fe-V-Si alloying system in a model CO2-containing operating environment, is viewed. Findings of the alloy structural, mechanical and corrosion characteristics, giving that it had new constitution, can be of great importance in the development of new steel grades for the production of oilfield casing and tubular goods, resistant to CO2-containing operating environment
