Influence of impervious cover determination method of upper Ciliwung watershed on flood warning system level change in Katulampa weir

Abstract: Abstract. The Katulampa Weir is a part of Jakarta Flood Early Warning System for the Ciliwung River. The measured water level fluctuation in the Katulampa Weir is affected by the physical condition of the Upper Ciliwung Watershed. In this study, the definition and relevance of the impervious cover determination method based on the Total Impervious Area (TIA) and Effective Impervious Area (EIA) in generating design flood discharge and its effect on the change of flood early warning level in Katulampa Weir will … Show more

“…It should also be noted that stormwater flooding may occur from combined sewers and so actually be a mixture of stormwater and wastewater. Water quality will also begin to decline if more than 10% of the watershed area is impermeable (Farika et al, 2018).…”

“…Darji , Patel, & Prakash (2022) discusses the calibration and validation of a rainfall-runoff transformation model using HEC-HMS for flood mitigation in the Hathmati River sub-watershed in Gujarat, India (Darji, Patel, & Prakash, 2022). Evi Anggraheni (2018) discusses the use of HEC-HMS for rainfall-runoff simulation in the Upper Ciliwung Watershed to analyze hydrological characteristics and predict discharge for flood management (Farika, Sutjiningsih, & Anggraheni, 2018). Reza Saadati Farokhsha (2014) discusses the simulation of rainfall-runoff and flood hydrographs using the HEC-HMS model (Farokhsha & Farokhsha, 2014).…”
