Influence of in‐situ growth of boron nitride with chestnut ball copper cobaltate synergistic ammonium polyphosphate on flame retardancy, smoke suppression, and thermal conductivity of polylactic acid
Abstract:Ammonium polyphosphate (APP) is generally used to prepare fire retardant polymer composites, but it is still a challenge to further improve its flame retardant efficiency. In this study, BN‐CuCo2O4 (BNCC) hybrid was successfully prepared by in‐situ growth of copper cobaltate (CC) on boron nitride (BN) by the hydrothermal method. It was added together with APP to polylactic acid (PLA) to prepare PLA composite materials. Investigations were performed into its influence on the composite's fire‐retardant ability a… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
