Abstract:Pure niobium and niobium doped with 3000 to 4200 a t ppm Zr, Hf, MO, W, and Rh are irradiated a t 4.6 to 6 K in the reactor up to neut'ron doses of 2.72 x cm-2. The damage production rate of the doped samples increases in the range of 4 to 16.2 compared with the pure sample. This effect is probably due to the reduction of the radiation annealing processes caused by trapping of self interstitials a t the foreign atoms. The suppression of recovery in the doped samples up to about 45 K is also explained by tmppin… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
