“…These parameters appear in an equation with respect to the exponential function of the Reynolds number and the Galileo number that can be used to judge the change in the flow pattern. Some researchers have also studied the roughness of flat plates and round tubes, noncircular pipes (oval, moon-shaped), , and walls with complex transverse structures such as plates with rectangular holes, which not only cause fluctuations in falling film flow but also improve fluid dispersion and mixing. Additionally, Wang et al observed that the existence of the coated region on tubes enhanced the fluctuation of the liquid film and contributed to the enhancement of mass and heat transfer.…”
