Influence of parameters of a pneumatic grain seeder distributor on the uniform distribution of seeds

Abstract: The article considers the issue of substantiating the distributing working body parameters for a pneumatic grain seeder. Work on the subject matter is mainly experimental in nature and not sufficiently deeply worked out theoretically. Based on computer simulation, the article determines the most preferred layout of the distributor dividing head, establishes a rational form of the reference cone and the location of the outlet pipes. Based on the simulation of the movement of seed grain particles, the individual… Show more

“…However, not all used seeders fully meet the agro technical requirements of sowing. The main task of the grain seeder is the uniform distribution of seeds over the coulters [3], the uniformity of the sowing depth [4][5][6], the creation of an optimal density of the soil layer between the seeds, the control of reliable seeding of seeds and its automation [7][8][9].…”

“…Taking into account the specifics of this technology, direct seeding machines operate in the conditions of increased soil resistance and a substantial amount of postharvest residues. These factors can significantly deteriorate the quality of the seed distribution in depth, which is mainly preconditioned by the instability of the coulter motion [1][2][3].…”

“…Tools are important elements of seeding machines used in the no-till technology [1][2][3][4][5]. These are generally combined sowing sections simultaneously performing several heterogeneous operations: cutting the upper compacted soil layer, furrowing, laying the seed into the soil, and seeding down [4,5].…”
