Abstract:The influence of quartz (silicon dioxide) content on main physical and mechanical properties of composites based on low density polyethylene is considered. It is shown that the introduction of a compatibilizer – a copolymer of high-density polyethylene with maleic anhydride – into the composition improves the properties and compatibility of the mixed components.
