Influence of Povidone-Iodine Preoperative Showers on Skin Colonization in Elective Plastic Surgery Procedures

Abstract: Single preoperative povidone-iodine showers are effective in reducing staphylococcal skin colonization before elective clean plastic surgical procedures on the thorax and abdomen.
