“…Moreover, the presence of racist attitudes and behaviors are so widespread that some research practitioners suggest that sensitive inquiry about the extent of ethnic minority clients to exposure to race rated stressors would be an extremely useful component of any mental health assessment (Carter, 1991;Parham & Helms, 1985;Scufield & David, 2001;Spencer & Markstrom-Adams, 1990).
