“…The glass transition temperature only for the masterbatch is slightly shifted towards higher temperatures (up to 103.3 °C). The increase in the glass transition temperature shows a decrease in molecular mobility due to filler-matrix interactions [50,51], which confirms the results obtained from MFR measurements. In order to show the impact of the orientation occurring during the formation of the filaments, all the samples were melted.…”

“…43,44 The T g corresponding to PF-1 and PMy-1, both without GO, was slightly lower than those having GO at 0.5 wt% (PF-2 and PMy-2), which is attributed to the restriction of the polymer chain mobility due the presence of GO which presumably constrains the molecular relaxation and thus promoting an increase in the T g . 45,46 On the other hand, when m-GO was used instead of GO, the T g of the polyterpenes tends to decrease. The m-GO seems to reduce the cohesive forces through the polymer chains (acting as plasticizer), causing a decrease in T g .…”

“…A slight increase in high temperature transition could be noticed upon the addition of RGO which indicates the restriction of motion of polymer chain due to the interaction between RGO and PVC. [ 37 ] Hence it can be realized that RGO has a positive role in delaying the stiffening of objects containing plasticized polyvinyl chloride. But that melting peak is absent in the case of PR1IL1 samples.…”

“…This enhancement in storage modulus can be attributed to the reinforcing effect of RGO which is the result of nice dispersion of RGO in polymer matrix and interaction between PVC and RGO. [37] Figure 13. Thermal degradation behavior of the plasticized PVC and its nanocomposites.…”
