In this research paper have focusing in the plasma spray coating by Ti/Mg content isothermal oxidation processes at the temperature 900°C–1200°C at 5 h with using aluminium alloy. The temperature of plasma spray oxidation processes on pure aluminium alloy have converted at the α’ Ti phase and solid grain boundaries. Outer oxidation layer was formed in the 22 µm of grain size using plasma spray coating process and improve the mechanical properties and microstructure of the aluminium alloy. Ti/Mg oxidation layer was protecting the outer surface layer, while high temperature of oxygen reduction methods has implemented grain boundaries structure directly converted into the TiO2 and Al2O3 phases. The hardness value of Ti/Mg isothermal oxidation samples compared to the base materials was 28% increased. The average tensile testing of Ti/Mg oxidation samples was reached at the 556 MPa, 572 MPa and 628 MPa, 644 MPa, whereas Al lattice structure and α’delta phase has major contribution on face changes structure. Wear studies of were carried out at the 20 N load using environmental condition to increase the wear resistance of Ti/Mg isothermal oxidation sample. To identify the outer surface layer using atomic force microscopy with Ti/Mg oxidation method have implemented to reducing dimples, voids and cracks of the inner and outer surface layers. More interesting, Ti/Mg isothermal oxidation of tensile, bending and hardness testing have better strength and excellent wear resistance of all coated sample.
