Based on transaction cost theory and social exchange theory, this article develops hypotheses regarding the impacts of supplier trust and relationship commitment on green supplier integration, and the moderating effect of monitoring difficulty. We conduct hierarchical regression analyses to test these hypothesized relationships using survey data collected from … Show more

To access these resources, firms should shift to a paradigm of green supply chain integration (GSCI) via collaborating with various supply chain partners (Feng, Jiang, & Xu, 2020; Wang, Feng, Zhao, & Song, 2018; Yang, Geng, & Feng, 2020; Zhou, Xia, Feng, Jiang, & He, 2019). Although previous studies have argued the integration‐innovation relationship, GSCI merely provides the possible opportunities of acquiring and applying resources.…”

“…Customers, suppliers, employees, and the community in which the firm operates are selected as the main stakeholders of the firm (Hillman & Keim, 2001). Supplier relations have also received considerable attention as a source of social integration of a firm with its supply chain (Wang, Feng, Zhao, & Song, 2018). It is also established that employees play a central role in creating internal CSR and sustainability (Shah, Arjoon, & Rambocas, 2016).…”
