“…At the same time, the immunocortin could inhibit proliferation of Con A stimulated LN lymphocytes, which proves the immunosuppressive effects of the peptide on MBP(63–81), and Con A stimulated LN lymphocytes have rather a common grounds. Our results partly support in vitro findings published earlier (Navolotskaya et al, 2000 ), when the immunocortin was shown in vitro to act immunosuppressive on mouse thymocytes, and also by reducing the bactericide activity, and spontaneous motility of peritoneal macrophages.
