Influence of the Cement Composition on the Properties of Reinforced Concrete Structures Working in High Temperature Conditions

Abstract: In the article the influence of binder hardening of concrete processes and changes in the phase composition of cement by heating to 1000 °С. It was established that the presence of active mineral adds in cement composite increases the strength of concrete at ordinary temperatures as well as when heated in a fire.  Damage of structures, accompanied by loss of strength characteristics of concrete under the influence of high temperatures of the fire due to the decomposition of water-containing crystalline h… Show more

“…In the work by S. Homon and M. Polishchuk, [6] the technology of manufacturing glued laminated timber beams reinforced with rod reinforcement and composite strips is experimentally investigated. The article by O. Bashinsky, T. Bondarchuk, and M. Peleshko [7] describes some results of experimental studies, including three methods of reinforcing timber beams with strip reinforcement, practically doubling their load-bearing capacity. Results of numerical studies on the application of composite strips to reinforce various solid and glued laminated timber structures are provided in other works [8,9].…”
