“…Meanwhile, 1,2,4triazole used as linker in ligands for MOF construction, is not usually involved in the formation of coordination bonds (Du et al, 2005). The most widely used ligands of such type are 3-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazole derivatives, which readily form extremely stable planar coordination compounds with platinum (Chang et al, 2006;Chen et al, 2013) and palladium (Zakharchenko et al, 2017;, showing promising photoelectronic and catalytic properties, respectively.
