“…This peak is due to the vibration of the bond between titanium and oxygen (Ti-O bond) [30][31][32][33]. Region ii, corresponds to a peak at 450 cm -1 approximately, which is caused by vibrations between metal atoms and oxygen (Ti-O and Ba-O bonds) [30,32,34]. Both previous referred regions are not clearly visible in Figure 3 as from their nature these peaks are difficult to be detected [34].…”

“…Region i, is the most important peak for barium titanate and corresponds to wavelength range between 530-700 cm -1 (usually between 560-680 cm -1 ). This peak is due to the vibration of the bond between titanium and oxygen (Ti-O bond) [30][31][32][33]. Region ii, corresponds to a peak at 450 cm -1 approximately, which is caused by vibrations between metal atoms and oxygen (Ti-O and Ba-O bonds) [30,32,34].…”

“…The BaTiO 3 phase is confirmed by the peak at 510 cm −1 , which is related to Ti-O absorption in the barium titanate lattice [45]. A strong absorption at 1450 cm −1 can be observed for the sample prepared with a CW : BT ratio of 25 : 2, which-as well as the ones at 1750 and 850 cm -is due to asymmetric stretching of the carbonate ions (CO 3 2− ) of BaCO 3 [45]. BaCO 3 could not be detected by XRD in the 25 : 2 sample.…”

“…On the other hand, it is known that all the above mentioned properties are basically influenced by the temperature and the frequency in perovskite structure-type materials. Therefore, the temperature dependence of the dielectric permittivity for some frequencies has been widely studied and reported as an important feature in order to determine the temperatures and character of the phase transition in ferroelectric materials [14][15][16]. To the best of our knowledge, no works focusing on the study of the dielectric properties in the BSxT system in a very wide frequency interval, and for different temperatures of measure, have been reported in the literature, but only for few frequencies.…”
