Abstract:The influence of the presence of multiple resonances in ferromagnetic resonance spectra on extracted material parameters is investigated using numerical simulations. Our results show that the systematic error of assuming an incorrect number of resonances for a material can lead to the extraction of material parameters that significantly deviate from any of the true material parameters. When noise is present in experimental ferromagnetic resonance spectra increasing the frequency range of the broadband characte… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
