Influence of the Season of the Year on the Quality of Milk Purchased by Dairies

Abstract: The aim of the study was to assess the effect of the calendar month on the quantity of milk purchased by dairies and to assess the chemical quality of milk based on analysis of its content of protein, fat, casein, and urea, as well as its SCC. Analysis of milk purchased in individual months showed that the most milk was purchased in June and the least in December.
