Influence of the year characteristics and the different fertilization levels on the structural elements of wheat yield

Abstract: Influence of the year characteristics and the different fertilization levels on the structural elements of wheat yield Abstract. The aim of the development is (through two-way dispersion analysis -ANOVA) to study the impact of the factors "year characteristics" and "fertilization levels" on the separate biometric indicators for wheat: ear length (cm), ear-bearing stems (cm), number of grains per ear (num.), grain weight per ear (g) and mass of 1000 grains (g). Data for the yield and its structural elements we… Show more

“…Application of mineral and foliar fertilization has the strongest effect on yield. Fertilization (expressed by the sum of the squared deviations relative to the total variation) has the most significant influence on the yields -96.83% of the total variation in the data results from this factor (Koteva et al, 2014;Kuneva and Bazitov, 2014;Kuneva et al, 2015;Toncheva, 2016;Traykov et al, 2017;. The absolute mass of the grain, the weight of the grain in one cob are signs that are directly related to productivity.…”

“…In our country, for a large part of the country, the temperature conditions are favorable for its cultivation, but the limiting factor is the precipitation, which is why it is of crucial importance (Koteva et al, 2014). Maize is distinguished by a very high genetically determined productivity, the realization of which is influenced by the region with its characteristic soil and climate conditions and the applied agro technical measures, among which the mineral fertilization is of dominant importance (Nenova, 2010;Kuneva, Bazitov, 2014;Traikov et al, 2017;Glogova, 2018). The interest in corn is based on its wide and varied use not only as feed for farm animals, but also in a number of productions of the food and chemical industries.…”
