Abstract:The position of the maxillary central incisor (MCI) directly affects the appearance of the patient's profile. For patients with bimaxillary protrusion or maxillary protrusion, orthodontic treatment often adopts a large number of retractions of the maxillary anterior teeth to improve the profile.
