Influencing factors of maximum retraction of maxillary central incisor and its clinical significance in orthodontic treatment

Abstract: The position of the maxillary central incisor (MCI) directly affects the appearance of the patient's profile. For patients with bimaxillary protrusion or maxillary protrusion, orthodontic treatment often adopts a large number of retractions of the maxillary anterior teeth to improve the profile.
