“…It is interesting that respiratory tract infection is a risk factor of acute HEV patients, and this may be due to the fact that patients with acute HEV infection, especially the severe cases usually have poor immunity, which also makes them more susceptible to respiratory pathogens, further aggravates the symptoms caused by HEV virus.
