A drug-induced lymphocyte stimulation test for the influenza vaccine was positive, and since there have been reports [9] of kidney diseases such as crescentic glomerulonephritis and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis occurring after administration of an influenza vaccine, a second renal biopsy was performed. The renal biopsy results showed mild mesangial proliferative nephritis in 13 of 15 glomeruli, and the findings were almost identical to those of the first renal biopsy, including IgA, IgM and C3 depositions observed in the mesangial area by immunofluorescence microscopy.…”
