The tough regulatory requirements of the Central Bank of Russia, competition with transnational banks and a reduction in the volume of issued loans made it necessary to develop measures aimed to increase the efficiency of a regional commercial bank. In this regard, search for new management methods, implementation of analysis tools and improvement of a financial organization activity are relevant. The article proposes to optimize business the processes of the management system of the regional commercial bank by using lean manufacturing tools. The advantages and usefulness of a value stream map for business processes analysis and optimization are considered and substantiated. The tool was implemented in relation to the business process of the commercial bank «Lending to individuals». The time of operations and interoperation intervals was determined, risk analysis was made, and measures were proposed to improve the process. The economic efficiency of corrective measures was calculated.

All efforts in advanced management systems should maximize value for the customer. One effective way to identify and realize this value is to map the product's flow from end customer to a supplier by visualizing the value streams of individual processes. This paper aims to analyse and propose the introduction of a lean value stream in vacuum pump assembly to achieve increased production output. Vacuum technology is the field of engineering concerned with creating and using a vacuum. It, therefore, deals with an environment in which the gas pressure is lower than the atmospheric pressure. A vacuum pump is a gas pump that extracts air from an enclosed space to create a vacuum. The basic parameters are the vacuum level achieved and the pumping speed. Several design solutions are available that meet the aforementioned basic parameters. A turbomolecular pump was selected for this study. The incentive to improve the material and information flow on the vacuum pump assembly line is the significant increase in orders from the customer. The technique used is production value stream mapping. Following the output of the Value Stream Mapping (VSM), a change plan is determined to optimize the assembly process, which will positively influence the future state of the value stream to meet the customer's requirements.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktifitas dengan cara memperpendek lead time proses dengan mengurangi atau menghilangkan proses yang tidak memberikan nilai tambah, dengan metode pendekatan value stream mapping dan kaizen blitz. Perhitungan lead time di dasarkan pada stagnasi, informasi, proses, dan transportasi. Lead time dikategorikan pada value-added (VA), nonvalue-added (NVA) dan necessary but non-value-added (NNVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penurunan lead time total dari 82,8 jam menjadi 61,54 jam, pada kategori value-added (VA) 1,26 jam menjadi 0,24 jam, non-value-added (NVA) 80,9 jam menjadi 60,72 jam, pada necessary but nonvalue-added (NNVA) tidak ada penurunan. Perbaikan dilakukan dengan menggabungkan proses subassy dan packing, ke proses assembly. sehingga dapat mengurangi perpindahan komponen dan proses serta mengurangi jumlah man power dari 38 menjadi 34 orang. Kata kunci: value stream mapping, kaizen blitz, lead time
