Information Technologies in Extracurricular Activities on Astronomy (On the Example of the Web Quest “First in Space”)

Abstract

A web quest, as one of the forms of distance learning, is a tool that allows pupils to study educational material with interest. This form can be especially effective for studying the material of those school subjects, for the study of which is given less than two hours a week. The article offers a description of the web quest “First in Space”, developed and conducted as part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the beginning of the space age.
